NEW YORK: Development approval has just been granted for a new state-of-the-art “green” apartment complex that will be the first to offer communal electric cars and bikes.
The complex will also feature three-storey high living green walls.
Tenants will have access to the communal electric cars, and can also opt for pedal power with the provision of 20 bicycles.
The complex will have 136 one and two-bedroom apartments across 19 levels.
Other green features include solar panels and a solar-boosted central hot water plant servicing all apartments.
