Seniors housing developers compete for Global Award

NEW YORK: The six hundredth entry for the seniors housing Global Awards for 2015 has been received.

It was easy for Raymond Nicolini and Howard Wortzman to choose Brantford for their latest construction project.

The two entrepreneurs have worked within the real estate development industry for most of their careers boasting a combined 50 years of experience between them. They are currently specialising in residential development projects. After exploring prospective sites and learning about the pressing need for newly constructed rental stock in Brantford, it wasn’t long before they broke ground.

The overall project at Dunsdon Street and Wayne Gretzky Parkway will be comprised of two luxury apartment buildings, one currently under construction, which is expected to be ready for tenants around the end of the year, and the other expected to commence later this summer. In addition, there is, an existing 100% occupied accessible apartment building geared toward seniors and adults with disabilities. The accessible building was completed in May of 2011.
