NEW YORK: The five hundredth entry for the seniors housing Global Awards for 2015 has been received.
A car park could be transformed into a 65-flat care scheme as part of plans to develop town centre living.
The $14 million scheme provides accommodation which allows elderly people to maintain their independence.
The scheme has 47 one-bedroom and 18 two-bedroom apartments with a mixed use of rent and part-ownership suitable for people who have extra care needs, learning or physical disabilities or dementia.
