NEW YORK: The four hundred and twenty-fifth entry for the seniors housing Global Awards for 2015 has been received.
One of Dallas’ most exclusive seniors communities is spending $36 million on upgrades and expansion.
Work will start this summer at the Edgemere complex on Northwest Highway west of Hillcrest Road.
The additions to the 16-acre community include a 6,000-square-foot performing arts center, eight assisted-living apartment homes, 12 memory-support suites and 15 skilled-nursing private suites.
An underground parking garage will also be built.
