Researchers use stem cells to unlock new Alzheimer’s development

TULSA: Researchers believe a protein developed naturally by the body could offer a potential treatment for Alzheimer’s Disease.

Scientists were able to ‘reprogram’ skin cells from individuals with the genetic form of the debilitative disease, in order to mimic the condition.

They then used drugs to decrease the rate at which the protein is broken down by the body…
