New research could lead to further progress towards fighting Alzheimer’s disease

BOSTON: The Boston University Alzheimer’s Disease Center and Boston Medical Center will be involved in several trials and studies, together with the test to observe the effects of a drug known as T-817MA.

At present, just five drugs are approved to treat Alzheimer’s disease, which are intended at slowing down early symptoms of the disease in some people. T-817MA is aimed at people who are already suffering from a degree of dementia, and it could probably change the course of Alzheimer’s disease…
