1. Butler’s pantry (a small kitchen off the main kitchen where you conceal your mess when entertaining)…
2. Natural finishes (such as stone benchtops and bamboo floors)
3. Mud room (a nook off the laundry for hanging wet clothes and storing muddy shoes)
4. Concealed cistern (just the toilet bowl shows with flush buttons in the wall)
5. Walk-in dressing room (with his and hers wardrobes, and sitting area)
6. iPad-controlled appliances and fixtures (turn on the lights and sound systems from one spot)
7. Suspended fireplace (hanging from the ceiling)
8. LED/feature lighting (bringing glamour to your cupboards)
9. Covered ‘al fresco’ areas (flowing from the indoor living area – preferably with built-in furniture)
10. An underground space (becomes a cellar or gym or games room)…
