5 per cent of over 50s seek ‘new life’ upon retirement

NEW YORK: 5 per cent of the over 50s quartile (50-75) are ‘new start’ migrants, seeking to live in another country for new experiences.

New Zealanders are into Fiji, Australians into Bali, Germans into Thailand, the Japanese into the Philippines, the USA/Canada into Central America and the UK spreads itself over 26 countries.

Long-term visas being offered by south-east Asian countries.
