BOSTON: US-based Health Care REIT has acquired a 9.9% equity stake in skilled nursing home operator Avery Healthcare for an undisclosed amount.
Health Care REIT, the largest US REIT focused solely on healthcare, is listed on the NYSE and has a market capitalisation of approximately $40 billion, said Vice president of investments at Health Care REIT Keith Crockett.
