MIAMI: A “resort-style” assisted living and memory care center for senior citizens and people with dementia is coming to Indian Land, adding to a building boom in a busy part of upstate South Carolina.
The Blake at Edgewater should break ground in late 2016, Mississippi-based developer Cardinal Ventures said, in the Edgewater Commons development at Highway 521 and Highway 160. A “welcome center” will be built on the site first, and the facility is expected to open in early 2018.
