SAN DIEGO: The trend of ‘going it alone’ is continuing to grow. Google searches for ‘solo travel’ are up almost a third last year compared with 2013.
The fastest growing solo travel age groups is the older adult population, with a recent survey finding that 37% of adults aged 45 and older took a trip alone in the past two years and more than 80% planned to take another solo trip in the next year…
