NEW YORK: The eight hundred and twenty seventh entry for the seniors housing Global Awards for 2015 has been received.
The Apartments at the Mill was built on the site of the former Raffino Knitting Corp. mill in Burlington City. The mill itself was converted into a community centre, a leasing office, and 11 residential units.
The $15 million Apartments at the Mill project will provide 65 multifamily affordable-housing units on a nearly three-acre tract near the Assicunk Creek in Burlington City.
“The Mill is a perfect example of melding the old with the new, the historical with the functional,” Mayor James A. Fazzone said.
