NEW YORK: The five hundred and ninety-fourth entry for the seniors housing Global Awards for 2015 has been received.
REACH, a community development agency offering low income and affordable housing, opens Gilman Court, a new transit-based senior housing located within the Gateway Urban Renewal District.
The new development is a 60 unit residential building that will allow seniors easy access to on-site, door-to-door transit transportation. Gilman Court is a low income based community that sets rental prices in correspondence with the resident’s Median Family Income (MFI).
In addition to affordable housing, REACH will be providing property management services and amenities, including outdoor space, a community courtyard, as well as other features to aid seniors living in the community.
