Seniors housing developers compete for Global Award

NEW YORK: The five hundred and seventy-third entry for the seniors housing Global Awards for 2015 has been received.

Secluded properties in the bush are being targeted by boomer buyers looking for a lifestyle change.

The acreage market has come a long way in 20 years, with tree houses and secluded properties in the bush all on the radar of buyers looking for a lifestyle change.

REIQ Gold Coast zone chairman John Newlands said better roads and improved infrastructure meant it was possible for more people to live on acreage or in the Hinterland and still be connected to the city.

Two acreage are on the shortlist of the Independent Living category.
