Seniors housing developers compete for Global Award

NEW YORK: The five hundred and fifty-fourth entry for the seniors housing Global Awards for 2015 has been received.

Developers and public officials cut the ribbon today on 75 units of a new, affordable housing along the Delaware River, in Pennsauken.

As new developments go, Riverfront Village checks all the boxes: energy efficient, near mass transit, affordable rent, with units set aside for formerly homeless veterans and low income families.

The townhouses replace a blighted lot that had been vacant for 20 years.
