NEW YORK: The four hundred and seventy-seventh entry for the seniors housing Global Awards for 2015 has been received.
After a process spanning almost two years, Tompkins County Legislators have finally named a preferred developer to the old library site.
Local firm Travis Hyde Companies, in partnership with Lifelong and HOLT Architects, were selected as the preferred proposal in a close 3-2 vote of the county’s library committee.
Travis Hyde would develop a 4-storey, 72,500 square-foot building with 63 residential market-rate senior-focused units, as well as professional office space and a community room.
