NEW YORK: The four hundred and sixty-fourth entry for the seniors housing Global Awards for 2015 has been received.
Developers behind the five-storey, 200-unit building The Scott at Brush Park said in the report that they are pulling permits for the building, but could begin excavation in the next couple of weeks.
The “mixed-used development,” and plans to fill a 2.6-acre parcel of vacant land on the corner of Woodward Avenue and Erskine Street with market-rate apartments and 15,000 square-feet of retail space.
The Scott will “be targeted at the mid- to high-end of the market with services comparable to The Albert.”
Woodward and Erskine, LLC, a real estate venture of Broder and Sachse, is the developer for the project.The LLC has been working on the plans for more than a year.
A certain number of units “will meet affordability benchmarks.”
A 300-space parking deck will be situated underneath the apartments, and renderings show a rooftop “vegetated terrace,” swimming pool, fireplaces and outdoor seating.
