Seniors housing developers compete for Global Award

NEW YORK: The four hundred and sixty-first entry for the seniors housing Global Awards for 2015 has been received.

Athens-based St. Mary’s Health Care System now owns Ty Cobb Regional Medical Centre in Lavonia. St. Mary’s and its parent organisation, Trinity Health, are paying $12.9 million for the 56-bed hospital, its Certificate of Need, grounds and certain related services such as Clear Creek Ob/Gyn, Healthworks and the wellness center. Ty Cobb Healthcare System will retain the Gables, Home Base Health Services, LifeSprings, the Ty Cobb Museum and rental properties.
