NEW YORK: The three hundred and eighty-fourth entry for the seniors housing Global Awards for 2015 has been received.
State College is one step closer to having a new affordable housing development near downtown.
The State College Planning Commission approved the final plans for a development at 1311 South Atherton Street that will combine workforce housing and a new drive-through coffee shop.
The plans call for 12 two-bedroom apartments above a first floor commercial space, complete with a drive-through around the back of the building, said developer Ara Kervandijan of the Progress Development Group.
