NEW YORK: The three hundred and eightieth entry for the seniors housing Global Awards for 2015 has been received.
A development partnership created by Block Real Estate Services LLC is preparing to start its first vertical construction at CityPlace, a $350 million mixed-use project planned for 90 acres southwest of College Boulevard and U.S. Highway 69 in Overland Park.
The Overland Park Planning Commission approved plans for a 116-unit assisted-living facility that will be the second CityPlace component to go vertical.
Chicago-based CA Ventures LLC is developing the project.
Besides the assisted-living facility, CityPlace plans call for a total of 1,382 apartments, about 65,000 square feet of retail and more than 600,000 square feet of office.
