Seniors housing developers compete for Global Award

NEW YORK: The three hundred and seventy-second entry for the seniors housing Global Awards for 2015 has been received.

A well-known Morpeth building that has stood derelict for two years could be demolished to make way for luxury apartments.

Plans have been submitted to pull down the former Howard Castle skilled nursing home in Dacre Street and replace it with three blocks of flats.

The project is entered in a design category.

Global Over 50s Housing/Healthcare Awards.
