NEW YORK: The three hundred and sixty-seventh entry for the seniors housing Global Awards for 2015 has been received.
After some initial hiccups that delayed the project by five months, Bramalea Retirement Residence has flung its doors open to the community.
The 160-suite residence is a mid-priced hotel.
This is the fourth hotel that Greenwood Retirement Community Inc. has renovated into a residence for seniors. Converting existing buildings into homes for seniors has proven to be a savvy business plan for Greenwood, said Mike Brcko, vice-president, real estate development, Greenwood Retirement Communities.
