NEW YORK: The three hundred and fifty-seventh entry for the seniors housing Global Awards for 2015 has been received.
The Philippines has launched a design competition for a pair of flagship affordable housing schemes on its 9,450 hectare Clark Green City masterplan.
The contest – backed by the Bases Conversion and Development Authority – seeks proposals for two separate housing zones within the 254 hectare first phase of the enormous development.
A 25 hectare plot has been earmarked for rental housing while a nearby five hectare plot will rehouse around 200 families displaced by construction of the first phase.
Planned to eventually host around 1.2 million residents and 800,000 workers, the new city is being constructed close to Clark Airport north of Manila.
