NEW YORK: The three hundred and forty-ninth entry for the seniors housing Global Awards for 2015 has been received.
A revamp of a Mount Maunganui retirement community has already been awarded gold in this year’s New Zealand Commercial Project Awards.
Entrant Stanley Construction won the restoration category for their work on Ocean Shores Retirement Village’s redevelopment.
Ocean Shores is located on Mount Maunganui’s Maranui St. and were on track to completing about $7.5 million worth of weather proofing repairs to 84 apartments.
The renovations involved two apartment blocks after suffering leaky problems.
