A futuristic home made entirely of glass has proved so popular with the over 50s there are plans to build five more in the New Zealand countryside by the end of the year.
The ‘PurePod’, which has a glass roof, floor and walls, is thought to be a world first.
It promises a ‘total immersion’ in the stunning scenery above Little River on Banks Peninsula outside Christchurch, with just a bed, simple kitchen and a glazed bathroom between them and the landscape…
