NEW YORK: The three hundred and fourth entry for the seniors housing Global Award for 2015 has been received.
The manufactured home is undergoing a renaissance.
Home ownership has been flagging. In 2013, home purchases fell for the ninth straight year, according to the Joint Center for Housing Studies at Harvard. The home ownership rate has dropped to 65 percent, the lowest since 1995.
But manufactured housing is starting to turn this trend around.
This category is being introduced for the first time in 2015.
