NEW YORK: The two hundred and fifty-second entry for the seniors housing Global Award for 2015 has been received.
A senior living community is building a $17-million rehab and assisted living addition that it expects will create roughly 75 jobs.
Sunset Retirement Communities & Services said that its Waterford Rehab Center is expected to be completed this fall, with an anticipated Aug. 17 move-in date for residents.
The roughly 70,000-square-foot center is a health care addition to the Waterford Place campus in Georgetown Township, at 1725 Port Sheldon Rd.
Construction on Waterford Rehab Center broke ground in February 2014 as a joint project between The Christman Company, which is headquartered in Lansing, and Elzinga & Volkers in Holland.
Progressive AE is the managing architect for the project.
