NEW YORK: The hundred and seventy-eighth entry for the seniors housing Global Award for 2015 has been received.
Stonewall Gardens is not your average, run-of-the-mill Bingo-playing retirement home. Rather, the 24-unit LGBT assisted-living village—the first of its kind in Southern California—is a place where LGBT seniors can get whatever help they need while enjoying a supportive environment celebrating their life experiences, said Executive Director Dee Wieringa.
