NEW YORK: The three hundred and seventieth entry for the seniors housing Global Awards 2016 has been received.
Work to revamp a former skilled nursing home in Somerton has been approved following an appeal despite opposition from the town.
Close Care Homes (Somerton) Ltd applied last year to demolish the vacant building on Pesters Lane and replace it with a mixture of one and two-bedroom “care units” where elderly people could live independently while taking advantage of shared amenities.
