NEW YORK: The three hundred and sixty-first entry for the seniors housing Global Awards 2016 has been received.
Silverburn has pledged to become Scotland’s first dementia friendly shopping centre as part of a city-wide strategy to improve services for patients.
Alzheimer Scotland will be working closely with the mall and city planners over the next three years.
Staff at Silverburn will be trained to support elderly shoppers and the centre will also look at environmental issues such as lighting, signage and the use of colour.
