NEW YORK: The hundred and nineteenth entry for the seniors housing Global Award for 2015 has been received.
Glavovic Studio, a Fort Lauderdale-based architecture, urban design and planning firm, is designing the Sailboat Bend Apartments, a seven-story, 105-unit renovation project for seniors in downtown Fort Lauderdale.
The $8 million renovation includes 76,500-square-feet on the south side of the New River in historical Sailboat Bend, efficiency units, one and two bedroom units and a community room to comply with UFAS and ADA requirements.
