NEW YORK: The two hundred and tenth entry for the seniors housing Global Awards 2016 has been received.
The site of a former trailer home park in Westlake could become the location for a proposed 100-bed assisted living/memory care facility.
Mario Sinicariello, president of Omni Senior Living, presented a conceptual plan to the Westlake Planning, Zoning and Legislative Committee Tuesday evening. He was seeking a conditional use permit to run the Omni Properties Companies facility at 26350 Westwood Road, where Schneider’s Mobile Homes LLC once operated.
The conceptual plan meets the requirements for a conditional use permit but will be reviewed by the planning commission and city council before a final decision is rendered. If approved, it would take 12 to 14 months to construct and likely would open in September 2017…
