Retirement community ‘insider’ admits sector is not addressing sustainability

BOSTON: A retirement community “insider” has admitted that the bigger sustainability picture is still not being addressed by the developers and operators of communities.

The community operator is dumbing down projects to meet a pension income client.

Over 80 per cent of community dwellers are now in this category.
