NEW YORK: An aged care association says the real costs of caring for the elderly are three times what the government believes and funding calculations need an urgent review.
The release of the latest fees and charges by the government shows an indexation rise of just 1.3 per cent, despite data showing costs for healthcare alone have risen by 4.4 per cent in the last year.
