Plan to turn convent into home for seniors gets green light

ATLANTA: A proposal to turn a long-vacant convent into a senior living facility will move forward.

The Catholic Church leased the convent to a nonprofit company, and approved plans for it to be converted into group housing for seniors with 11 bedrooms, a shared kitchen and common areas.
