OTC meds increase risk for Alzheimer’s

INDIANAPOLIS: A doctor has discovered that certain over-the-counter medicines taken for extended amounts of time may increase the risk for Alzheimer’s disease.

Research shows that taking daily doses of common over-the-counter drugs including aspirins, ibuprofens, and antihistamines, may increase the risk for the disease by at least 50 percent.
