Not-for-profits imposing own idea of charity on lives they subjugate

SAN FRANCISCO: There is a growing societal anger over church/charity/not-for-profits imposing their own idea of care on the elderly and infirm.

The triple cultures of “you are my mission”, “doctor knows best”, and “this is in your best interests” have enslaved an acquiescent generation.

Now the not-for-profits arrogance is behind ‘promise zones’ and ‘choice neighborhoods’. Senior charity staff from rich neighborhoods drive in each day and impose a narrow, elitist view of ‘their’ community…
