Not-for-profit seeking funds to build affordable housing for homeless seniors

DALLAS: A not-for-profit charity is tin-rattling for funds to build affordable housing for homeless seniors and low income families.

“It’s nearly impossible to build a successful future without a stable place to call home,” said the head of the charity organization. “Grants will help transition seniors, young adults, and hardworking families out of homelessness and into safe, affordable housing.”

“Rents are rising and it is becoming harder to find affordable housing, especially for people who are already struggling to make ends meet. These new housing units are real homes for people who can’t afford them otherwise, and having a home could change a life.”…
