appsHOUSTON: Scientists at the Northern Ireland’s Ulster University and the Utah State University in the US have developed an app that may help prevent the onset of Alzheimer’s disease.

The Gray Matters smartphone app encourages individuals to set lifestyle goals, from exercise and nutrition to stress management and brain stimulation – which may have an impact on the onset and progression of the disease.

It also provides daily facts on the link between healthy lifestyle behaviours and improved cognitive wellbeing.
