Nothing ever gets resolved. The divides never close. Profit vs. not-for-profit; trained staff vs. personal carers; attitudes to care still vary between the dedicated and the indolent; management objectives are at odds with underpaid staff; competency levels remain dangerously low; education is being dumbed and regulatory bodies and courts seemingly teach no enduring lesson.
