ALBUQUERQUE: Communities ‘misplaced’ fixation on apartments risks squeezing out other types of housing that might make for a better city, a new study into the population and housing density shows.

A mix of terraces, semi-detached houses and even walk-up apartments was found to be the most sustainable and effective way of supporting areas of high population.
