Building designed for the visually impaired approved by City Council

visually impaired1 DALLAS: A building tailored for blind and visually impaired people in the Oliver neighborhood was unanimously approved by City Council Monday.

The 35-storey tower will replace the current CNIB office at Jasper Avenue and 120 Street.

A visually impaired architect from San Francisco assisted with the design of the tower. He helped with the braille exterior, coloured glass and textured walkways to help people find the entrance……
