SINGAPORE: To allow residents to recover faster compared to conventional therapy methods, NTUC Health’s first skilled nursing home at Jurong West makes use of technology to increase the intensity of rehabilitation for patients.
At the home’s official launch, NTUC Health officials said that the ultimate aim is for residents to regain independence and return to their families.
The skilled nursing home began operations in October last year, and currently has over 200 highly-dependent seniors under their care. It also has a senior day care centre within its building, which serves about 60 seniors daily…
