ATLANTA: Visions of the future of seniors housing are currently on display.
All the housing types are currently under construction.
On the site of a derelict garage court, 10 two-story houses have been constructed as a collaboration between a builder and the future tenants of the homes. The site has been developed with builders erecting the building’s shell (walls, roofs and floors) and the tenants finishing off the houses.
To complete the buildings the group of self builders carried out a limited amount of second fix carpentry, fixing window boards, skirtings, kitchen units, plus the decorating and external fencing.
