Age care compounds becoming soft crime targets

But evidence is mounting that age-apartheid compounds are increasingly becoming soft crime targets and the care sector is trashing its reputation by doing nothing to effectively counter the growing threat:

446: A nurse working at a skilled nursing home has been before a misconduct panel over allegations she slept while she was meant to be feeding a resident.

A colleague claimed to have seen her nodding her head as if she were about to go to sleep.

The same colleague allegedly returned to find her asleep while she was meant to be feeding a resident. She was described as “zonked out and snoring”.
