But evidence is mounting that age-apartheid compounds are increasingly becoming soft crime targets and the care sector is trashing its reputation by doing nothing to effectively counter the growing threat:

253. A nurse has been suspended from practising for a year after being found responsible for nine failures in the care of a patient.

The former staff nurse made a string of failures – including inaccurately recording information about a patient with diabetes, creating “a serious risk of harm”.
