Moral debate reopens over efficacy of asking for signing of age death warrants

SEATTLE: A public debate on the efficacy of cold calling over 75s and asking them if they have thought about resuscitation has been triggered by hospital group call centre activities.

The calls have been generated by new hospital guidelines which require doctors to ask their elderly patients if they would like to be resuscitated when they suffer a heart attack or a stroke or other such life-threatening events…
