Over 55s more likely to go for walk than Gen X, Y and Z

SEATTLE: The younger generations are turning their backs on hiking and leaving the great outdoors to the over-55s, a study suggests.

It found that those aged 16 to 24 can’t bear to be away from their computers and games consoles so only take a stroll four times a month. By contrast, the over-55s go for a hike nine times a month.
