Seniors housing developers compete for Global Award

NEW YORK: The twelfth entry for the seniors housing Global Award for 2015 has been received.

The H.O.P.E. Center is designed for individuals with Alzheimer’s and other similar neurological disorders that compromise cognitive ability. These residents can still perform some daily activities, but also need professional care and support in a social setting.

A five-person panel of leading architects and designers has praised the ‘right size’ of the Center, limited to 13 residents, and the home-like interior design with adaptations for the memory impaired.
