NEW YORK: The integration of facilities, institutions and services in public facilities will result in stronger community bonds, said Ms Cheng Li Hui, who suggested making better use of schools and parks for more inter-generational bonding.
Referring to the S$3 billion Action Plan for Successful Aging launched by the Ministerial Committee on Aging last year, Ms Cheng said the decision to co-locate eldercare and childcare facilities in 10 new Housing and Development Board Build-To-Order projects caught her eye.
